Finally something new on this front!

We organized a totally exquisite day in Helsinki perimeter with my old friend and a skilled photographer Eero Jokimies and a great and professional lad originally from the UK – Tomas Whitehouse. The goal was to shoot some new promotional shots for myself, as the old ones were getting, well, kinda old.

I’ve seen a lot of great pics in the Finnish rave scene. Common thing with them is that those are usually shot by same couple of people. I wanted to bring a bit different view from the outside to the whole thing.

This is where Eero and Tomas step in.  I had seen a lot of their work before and really fell in love with that stuff. They’ve spent a lot of time practicing both the shooting itself an post processing. I drove to Helsinki and we spent a  great day in a empty mall parking lot and in a total wasteland. The guys had a really impressive setup of cameras, lenses, flashlights, dishes, softboxes, stands etc. And of course a lot of skill to wield them!

I’ve still seen just a fraction of the final stuff but I’m already totally impressed. More of this stuff will definitely be seen in different occasions. I truly recommend these guys if you are in a need of pics yourself. As a bonus, they are extraordinarily fun to work with!

Some finished shot, behind the scenes -shots and a video of our day can be seen at Tomas’s blog.

Huge thanks to the guys, let’s do it again some time!

Hello crew,
Just a quick one to let you know that my track ‘Type O’Negative’ is featured alongside Gammer, Ephexis, Lost Soul + etc. on a new and huge compilation album by ReBuild Music called ‘Worldwide Freeform’. The album was instantly sold out, but keep your eyes peeled for new presses.

After months of blood, sweat and tears, I am happy to announce that the Worldwide Freeform Album is now available to pre order! 20 brand new unmixed full length tracks over 2 CDs, with a whopping 18 tracks never released before and 17 absolute exclusives never to be released on any other format! Full artwork in a shiny brand new double jewel case! All tracks professionally mastered by mastering engineers like Andy @ Mindsurf and Ruffage @ Pure Focus. These tracks sound GREAT!

Freeform is a Worldwide movement, with producers, DJs and ravers from around the World following an ‘anything goes’ attitude to hardcore. This album represents many different styles and tempos, from the melodic beauty of Alek Száhala’s ‘Astraia’ and Sam one & Horzi’s ‘Macropsia’, to the 140bpm breakbeat vibes of ‘Raver’s Legacy’ by Cyrez, to the the intricate landscape of Oli G’s ‘Mood Music’ remix, the downright ravey ‘34m’ by Gammer and the dark and driving psy trance influenced ‘Warlock’ by Lost Soul, and everything in between. I have spent months compiling this album, and I honestly believe there isn’t a duff track on this.
